Founded in 2016, Design for Macha brings the expressive spirit of Italian lighting into contemporary homes. We are drawn to the balance of a silhouette, the warmth of brass, and the soft light of opaline glass.
Stella, Celeste, Solare and Helios each have their own character. Together they express our approach: lighting that feels as considered as the architecture around it, with finishes and configurations that make room for your own taste.

Italy's design culture is a continuing source of inspiration. We look to the inventive period from the 1920s to the 1980s: the architectural sensibility of Gio Ponti and Ignazio Gardella, and Gino Sarfatti's exploration of light and structure.
We return to that spirit of curiosity when considering proportion, material and the relationship between a luminaire and a room. Our collections bring those interests into the way we live today.
